We’ve known about the horrible working conditions at Amazon for years, why are people still newly applying for this place?
U.N.I.O.N or just find a different job
Kinda hard to make a union when bezos will just shut the whole location down.
At this point finding a new job is pretty much the only method and even then it’s getting harder to find jobs that don’t practice these exploitative methods.
What we need is a govt that’s not in corporate pockets so we can pass some legislation that actually prevents/punishes these practices and to tax billionaires out of existence.
That’s part of unionization but there’s a long way and it takes time.
They must pay alright if people are afraid of losing their job.

There is little to no social safety net in America to support someone who is not working. You either work or you are homeless and starve. And sometimes even if you are working you still starve.
I’m talking about the record unemployment rate right now. You can literally throw a rock and hit five jobs.
