If only quotes, evidence, and objective reporting had any hope of getting through to his supporters…

It’s almost impossible to reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.

They would never have become his supporters in the first place if that were the case.

There’s a big intersection between conservatives and people who find it very important to support the military. You don’t necessarily have to get them to engage with an argument so much as associate him with something they don’t like.

And yet people will still vote for him to “oWn ThE LiBs” Republicans propaganda is really good at getting people to vote against their own self interests

Thank their decades long war on education for that.

Judging by what I hear from the Republican-voting folks around me, unless this airs on Newsmax or OAN (etc) the people who need to see it, won’t.

It’s not like this would change their position anyways. The man has admitted, on record, to raping women, barging into children’s changing rooms, and wanting to fuck his daughter.

Anyone who still supports him is just flat out a bad person.

I agree mostly. Part of what I meant was that those networks will never sit such material, so it won’t get to the viewers, but if they did for some reason, some viewers may believe it because it came from a trusted source. But it will likely never sit on those networks, those viewers will never see it, and as you say, they will continue to behave poorly.

Univision, which recently gave Trump airtime, has turned down Biden ads (and of course turned down equal airtime for Biden). Wanna bet this ad won’t appear on Fox, OANN, Newsmax, or RSBN? I saw one interview with a MAGAt recently in which she said she gets all her news from Telegram.

Are you trolling or are you serious and you think John McCain is a genocidal maniac? I get that he was for the Iraq war and all that but please let’s not get absurd here. I personally feel that joining the military is a fools errand and consider myself a peacenick. However we’re talking about the literal commander in chief, a person who sits atop our military. You mean to tell me you think that person shouldn’t at least respect it?

Bro the VC were losing by a MASSIVE margin. The only reason the US left was because they lost the war for public opinion. The VC were entirely spent, much like your brain cells.

I wasn’t saying you have to respect it, only the person sitting as commander in chief should. Big difference.
