I find it ironic how they claim about not being profitable. How many millions of dollars did they spend on various developers salaries to build this unwanted feature?

I get about 2-3 of these fake follow requests per day in the official Reddit app.
I had the official app installed alongside Sync. Finally deleted the official app today.
I was getting these but found out if you dig thru the settings you can turn it off…but it was in some strange place I think. Granted since then the site has somewhat imploded…
I wonder how I’ve managed to avoid this. Maybe because my profile isn’t set to NSFW?
