And it works great on a balcony or indoor garden! Mint is also naturally pest resistant.

Fr. Just say no to intentionally planting mint in the ground.
You’ve also gotta make sure to cut the flowers off before the seeds spread. That’s how I ended up with them in my rock garden.

My neighbor planted lemon balm in her small garden bed- now it’s all lemon balm and has spread around the strata gardens. Anything in the mint family has to be contained, or soon it will be all you have.
And here I can’t make enough with a solid green thumb. Trying again next year.
