Does anyone know what special equipment includes? (I asked this last time but don’t think I got a response.)
Here’s a summary:
Radars, antennas, surveillance both manned and unmanned observation posts, command and control centres, man portable radar systems (Anti mortar/artillery, strike guidance systems), ECM/jamming, tracked recovery vehicles, mine clearing equipment, pontoons/bridge layers and trench digging equipment.
I believe it refers mostly to engineering equipment (mobile bridges, mine clearing vehicles, etc) and as a catch-all for random things that don’t fit into the other categories.
Does this include Russia’s self-inflicted losses as well?
Nope, just UA inflicted losses. Don’t think they’re tracked anywhere, Oryx covers all hardware losses.
Smells like cow shit
The visually confirmed kills back it up pretty well. Russia is losing an ungodly amount of men and equipment in their failing war of conquest.
It’s impressive how valuable source Oryx has become considering how it’s essentially a work done by single individual.
Oryx’s owner said he is ending his support for the website soon too. I’m hoping he passes it off, it really has been an invaluable tool.
