    The Backpedaling … at least partial.

    Though I’m wondering why they are doing the preview when they are not really reacting to feedback until the update goes live (unchanged) and shit really hits the fan. I also doubt that those balance changes have been play-tested before release.

    This is especially troubling because Cal seems to really know his stuff and the reasoning behind most changes seems mostly valid. Is the pressure (from management) so high that they are forced to release stuff so overhasty?

      Surprise Balance Followup

      Is it really such a surprise? Funny that tooltips for this followup patch appear to have been rolled out already. Almost like this updated balance patch was supposed to go live and not the original one which we got.

    Wake me when they reverse the Temporal Curtain range nerf. Fractals are fucking unplayable, can’t pull shit together without aggroing it first. TEN YEARS the range was fine. I’m not enough of a fan anymore to deal with huge kicks to the balls like that.
