I’m personally had my eye on Team Abnormal’s Caverns and Chasms for a long while now; it actually looks like a release might finally be in sight!

They’ve been working on it for a very long time!
I remember seeing someone privately porting it, but last I heard COFH perpetually had their hands full with Thermal suite.
Then again I’ve been gone for a while
Really looking forward to newest thermal suite.
I’ve had an idea for a modpack that relied on just thermal suite and maybe AE2. Everything else will utilize vanilla mob farms to farm the materials just like a vanilla 1.19 server.
