Germans hate centralization, love privacy and federation.
Don’t I know it regarding privacy! I like to use Google street view to see what old places I’ve lived look like, and Germany is a big white spot on the map compared to most countries.
All the big german subreddits have automod link to the equivalent lemmy community under every post

Well not surprising but what would be more interesting IMHO would be a per capita (well or by some multiple, not sure lemmy is popular enough to be per capita stricto sensus) stat… I’m probably a bit biased by the fact I live in a small country…
