    I’d just recommend a bright, cheerful game that requires little to zero reading and keeps to simple mechanics: New Super Mario Bros games, Mario 3D World, Mario Wonder, Yoshi’s Wooly/Crafted World, DK Tropical Freeze, Kirby Star Allies (Forgotten Land might be a bit more difficult or “dark” in tone for a toddler). You might find some good games that work on the eShop too.

    I don’t know about toddlers but SwitchUp on youtube has had a “Kids Pick of the Week” segment on their weekly sale videos for quite a while now. Maybe check that out.

    My daughter is 3 almost 4 and she loves playing Mario cart.

      Definitely. He really wants to play something with his older brother and is feeling left out.

        Mario Galaxy and Oddysey to a lesser extent has a “2” player where the second player isn’t going to get in the way but still is a part of the game!
