Has it happened? RiF is getting a 429 (too many requests) on all my accounts. That could mean they’ve just gone above their “free” tier.

I would have guessed earlier that they’d shut it down just before midnight Greenwich time (which is the base time zone, the first time zone to enter new days). That just happened ten minutes ago as I type this. OP post is about 20 minutes old. So it makes sense.
They weren’t going to allow ANY perception that they were still making requests at any time on July 1, to avoid any kind of billing by Reddit. Better safe than sorry.
Only somewhat related: I’ve used RiF for so long that I was confused about why I couldn’t see comments. I’ll miss RiF, it’s set my standard for UI design
