    Absolutely heart shattering. It tears the soul apart, reading stories like this. Seeing stories like this. And thinking families had to do this over 6,000 times. It’s unimaginable.

    ‘I kissed her but she wouldn’t wake up.’

    Such a short sentence, to be packed with so much heartbreak.

    Sometimes, love isn’t enough. A little evil can wipe out so much love, and a lot of evil ended this poor girl’s life, and - let’s be honest - her grandfather’s as he knew it.

    God, it hurts so much too read these stories. I so desperately want to see the warmongers on both sides of this conflict depowered and a return to negotiations for a lasting peace.
