It’s more interesting in Russia because it’s top level oligarchs and execs that seem to be doing the falling. That’s the equivalent of Bezos or the CEO of Exxon taking a header out the window.

Not sure if it’s the same in Russia but VP and Associate VP (AVP) positions are actually quite junior in many banks. In a few of the London-based ones it’s quite hard to find middle managers who aren’t at that level.
