I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with the latest stable iOS.
The app sometime seems to respond poorly, with sluggish scroll and actions
There has been a huge influx of users from the reddit mass migration, myself included. I’m sure this is having an effect.
Not really sure about this, desktop wise it works perfectly. It’s just the mobile version
13 Pro, it’s been kind of stuttery since I started using it some days ago. Noticeably slower than Apollo was. I chalked it up to being a PWA
being a PWA
As a FE dev, I had this problem too and I found that you had to optimise the event handling a bit for mobile otherwise it resulted in a sluggish experience
Using the mobile app on Android and this is extremely noticeable when making comments. Input lag when typing is severe, and backspace regularly gets “stuck” when pressing more than once and keeps going, deleting half the comment before it stops.
Maaaaybe here or there I run into a stutter. But mostly the app is running pretty well for me. Or my standards are lower. Not sure.
12Pro here.
Yeah, I don’t think that’s a huge problem. Most times, performance lags are unnoticeable, except sometimes when collapsing comments. But for now I take it as this interface is currently more polished than all other apps I tried.
That’s a good point tbh. I have not tried lemmy on desktop. A little short sighted on my part!
I noticed that here and there. It never lasts longer than a second or so. I assumed it was syncing in the background.
