What the title says. What are you plan on playing starfield on? Xbox or PC?
I have a PC I built around 2011-2012 and only upgraded the GPU since then. It runs games like Skyrim, Fallout, City Skylines and Civ6 at highest settings. I’m a pretty sure I’ll need a new PC.
What are all you planning on using to play starfield? I’m leaning towards PC because I enjoy modding games but curious what you with Xbox think. Will modding be easier on Xbox now that there is no PlayStation version?
PC definitely, console modding will never be as good because PC gets script extenders, which is what the truely impressive technical mods use.
I think I spend almost as much time modding games like Fallout and Skyrim as I do playing them, so I’m definitely really excited to see what mods come out for Starfield in the next few years. I have a feeling its going to be insane.

A Steamdeck would be cool but it’s uncertain if it’ll handle it.

Gonna play on Series S with my 2K monitor. It’s said that game will run 2K@30fps on SS. So that’d be ok.
I remember that some of the mods for Skyrim can be installed on Xbox, I see no reason for this game to not support mods, but don’t expect variety on PC
Def pc as I just built my first pc a couple of months ago. PC also gives me the options to mod once they become available.
PC. I’ve just upgraded to Ryzen 5800x3D and hope it’ll make it smooth. Also I’m a sucker for mods and this game seems to be the new modding heaven.
Hey do you play modded skyrim? How is the 5800x3d for that, if so? I am thinking of upgrading to one if i can find a gpod deal on Prime Day, would love to know if you find it a good buy.
No Skyrim but I play fallout 4 modpack “life in the ruins” and it runs really well.
This processor basically doubled my fps in escape from tarkov and other games which are CPU bound. It’s a beast.
In most games, this processor will be similar performance to 7800x3d cpu.
My previous cpu was Ryzen 3600.
Built my first ever PC in December, and am excited to see how it runs Starfield! Could only afford the 3060ti so hope that is enough for decent settings.

Xbox Series X, when I buy it. I’d love a PC but it isn’t in my budget. Can’t really afford the Xbox but it’s happening regardless

Normally I play PC but with a fiber HDMI cable to my tv and an Xbox one controller

Built it in early 2021, but it’s still beefy enough that medium settings and a stable 60FPS oughta be achievable.
As a Mac user, it’s Xbox all the way for me. I’ve played all Bethesda games on console anyway, feels only right to sit back on the couch with a controller.
A giant box that will be arriving on my porch on Monday. I’m kinda excited.
Intel i9, Geforce 4070, huge piles of RAM. Imma mod this bad boy into something even Todd won’t recognize.
Despite Bethesda’s best wishes, just can’t get used to controller movement anymore.
