So I looked at GamesRadar https://www.gamesradar.com/best-tabletop-rpgs/
But I find it surprising that Pathfinder barely earns a mention (under “What is the best alternative to D&D?” and under Starfinder), and then Savage Worlds, Tales from the Loop, Carbon 2185, Symbaroum, Grim & Perilous, Dungeon World (or other PBTA), Coriolis, Fate, Call of Cthulhu, Pendragon, and Vampire the Masquerade are off their radar.
I get omitting the OSR crowd as a niche RPG category, but Swords & Wizardry, Labyrinth Lord, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Castles & Crusades, Basic Fantasy, Old School Essentials, OSRIC, and so many others are worth a mention if you enjoy classic RPGs.
Dungeons and Dragons Call of Cthulhu Pathfinder Vampire the Masquerade
To name a few, but then of course there are different editions of each such as D&D 3.5 vs 5 and so on
