I didn’t see IndieDev, which is a community I frequented a lot on reddit. Between this one and IndieDev, that’s where I spent most of my time. I’m honestly not even sure what the distinction between the two is anymore.

      Haha, I just made it. I saw discussion of game dev on indiedev, as well as sharing of people’s work. I think that’s fine. And foe the record I will give up modding in a heart beat if someone else wants to do it.

        That’s fine, I’m not having a go or anything just remember we’re not actually on Reddit now and these spaces can be whatever we want them to be. Still, I know people like to mark their own territory, and it’s always good to have new spaces ready if we ever do get big enough to need to split topics 🙂

      From my experience on Reddit, r/Gamedev had turned into discussion about the business of gamedev. How the Steam shit worked, how to market your game, how to market yourself, etc etc. And sure, all of that stuff is important, but a lot of indie devs want to talk about the process of developing games.
