          Oh no, what did Eminem do. Hehe. Despite the implications of his very creative rhyming style, disgusting is not as similar to “discuss me” as he can make it sound.

    I greatly appreciate the explanation, because without it that’s NOT what I’d have assumed a “knocker-upper” was. The photo would not have helped.

    That’s if you had money, of you were broke you’d rent a penny layover and yes that’s where the phrase comes.

    You’d literally lay over a rope to sleep and they’d pull the knot loose at a set time in the morning, anyone still on it woke up when they hit the floor.
