Sign and trade for Pesce seems very likely. Pesce wants a long term deal and we seem to be unwilling to go beyond a few years to maintain flexibility. Sucks that we’re dead set on this Deangelo deal as I’d much rather just create a stone wall defense and dare other teams to score. Its not like our offense is going to become a team full of snipers with 1 big acquisition.
Wow loosing Pesce would feel like a gut punch to me. He has been a key piece the entire time I have been following the Canes. I was hoping with the signing of Orlov the TDA thing would be done.
Yeah I love pesce, I’m just predicting that based on the bits of insider info I’ve read and the fact that now we have 7 defenders (they’ve confirmed they’re just waiting for mid July make the TDA deal since that would be 1yr and remove the flag on the deal)
So someone is def on the way out.
There’s also still Lebrun saying we’re still in on Karlson so I have no idea what could be cooking there to make that work
