Heavy snow over the past few days in South Germany. Temperatures down to minus 15 degrees but perfectly blue skies and stunning landscapes for those that brave the cold.

Here in western Canada where it’s traditionally winter by this point we’ve had a very brown and mild November and early December. On the one hand I do miss these lovely landscapes, on the other I’m appreciating everything not being dirty after the melt.
I’m in Texas, and I wore short sleeves outside yesterday. That’s kind of normal for us, though. It’s still funny to think about. I only moved here 3 years ago, so I’m still adjusting to how short our winters are.
