    I sincerely hope this will happen instead of the funds just disappearing without accountability. More rails are always worth supporting.

    Is it proper normal highspeed rail, or is it an idiotic Musky vactrain, or solar frickin railways, or perhaps a entrepeneur will design a flooded underground tunnel systems where submarines are transporting passengers?

      1435 mm, 25kV (AC, Overhead) double track with grades of up to 4.5%, Ø: 165 km/h, Top: 300 km/h, EMU (likely Siemens Velaro Novo (ICE S in Germany), but AFAIK, has to be built in the US)

    Would be cool if it bypassed the Cajon pass.
