I’m a little surprised that the first sentence said almost exactly that:

Most outlets try to spin it like there is some sort of accountability. It’s nice to see a source stating the obvious.
Texas government be like: “can’t mistreat them if you don’t consider them human!”
The cops said they did nothing wrong? Case closed.
I hope they all get a belly-rub and lollypop to make up for the incalculable harm of being questioned by their good pals.
