I’m using wefwef on android, and have been enjoying it so far. However, sometimes I accidentally press the back button while viewing an image and it returns me to the previous page instead of closing the image, and I lose my scrolling progression too. Is there any way to customise the behaviour of the back button?

I’m glad I’m not the only one. This is the one thing keeping me from being able to browse one handed. I also have an issue with it closing the PWA when I go back when I’m on the main page. This may be desirable for done people but I don’t like losing my place in the feed when I accidentally swipe back on the main feed page (or misswipe when trying to upvote).

You can close an image by swiping up or down, you don’t have to tap on the X every time. That should make one handed browsing much easier.

I’m rather embarrassed I didn’t notice this but that is working. Thank you very much!

+1 for this, back should ALWAYS take you back exactly 1 step. Close the image, return to a community from a post instead of your feed if you stepped in from there, you name it.

Loving it other than that, already a very clear favorite and the updates come so fast!

Same here! Hopefully it can be addressed at some point, and the back button will simply close the picture instead.
