Long overdue for federal oversight here. The fact that protesters are being charged with domestic terrorism is unreal. The state is doing everything they can to trample the rights of citizens.
I think the Feds are very interested in having a fake city to train their goons on how to put down civil unrest. It’s terrifying and expected that the powers that be, see where the world is going; and instead of trying to mitigate the situation, they’ve decided the solution is building the perfect prison.
Then it’s time for a large civil disturbance. If the will of the people is to be ignored when all the correct, peaceful means have been tried, then the people are left with no recourse but to burn every precinct and government building to the ground.
Every move the Atlanta city council makes is counter to democratic process. Court cases better take note, and at the end of it all order any construction of the facility to be stopped and demolished.
