The plant itself is tiny compared to my other jalapenos but it’s loaded with flowers. I can’t wait to see what the fruits look like!

What in tarnation. This is a real jalapeño plant that’s supposed to look that way and is going to produce edible peppers??

Hopefully yeah but I doubt it’s supposed to look that way though! As far as I understand it the weird white bits are the result of a genetic mutation. I didn’t expect it to survive this long and now it has a load of flowers on it so I’ll find out real soon what sort of fruit it bears 🤞🤞

I’ve got bunch of weird peppers seeds from Matt’s Peppers, but somehow I failed to sow them. Do y’all think peppers can grow at home?

Hell yeah man. I sowed these in my bedroom and grew them in the window for months before I repotted them and put them outside. I got almost all of my info for learning to grow on the Pepper Geek channel on youtube. I’m still a novice - this is only my second year growing and in my first year I killed all of them lol.

Reminds me of the Fish Peppers I’ve grown the past 3 years! But definitely less hot/more versatile!

This is so wild! Never seen anything like it. Where’d you find this species?

I grew jalapeños just like this last year. The peppers were green with white swirls, but ripened to completely red.

Mine were smaller than regular jalapenos, but tasted just as good.
