Has any found a good use for the zonai bombs we get from the gumball machines?
Generally I take those out of the capsule, accidentally activate it, almost kill myself, and then move on personally.
You can break cracked walls with them or toss them at enemies to blow them up … you just have to hit the bomb beforehand and make sure you’re out of the blast radius once it goes off.
Personally, I almost never use them tho. If I want to mine large deposits of Zonaite or blow up an enemy camp, then I always have a “cannon” fused to a 1H weapon ready for that purpose. (use the “toss weapon” animation to aim and it will hurl an explosive while Link keeps hold of the actual weapon, similar to how the magic rods worked in BotW)
Ultrahand a metric shitton of them together, save as favorite, enjoy your portable nukes with Autobuild.
Mostly just another bomb for my shield…
I’ve seen vids of people paragliding over a monster camp and dropping a bunch of them onto the enemies below.
But is that worthwhile? Any better than cheaper bomb flowers? What I keep looking for is a distinct use for these that you can’t do with bomb flowers or a canon. Descriptions of them mention that they can trigger other Zonai devices, it seems like there is something implied there, but I can’t figure it out.
