UAW workers at the top make 33/hr. (That’s before their new contract they probably make more)
Tesla workers make 27/hr
As a Union member (teamsters, not UAW), I get a pension and healthcare. I don’t know what they get with the UAW union, but hopefully, their new contract addressed their needs.
Tesla workers have profit sharing, so a huge chunk of your retirement hinges on the whims of a madman.
Wow, even the threat of a union results in higher wages. Sounds like a great time to join up!
that’s the point. If you take small concessions you wont get anything real workers.
I guess you could look at it that way. I think the real point is “Unions help workers, even when you’re not a part of them.”
