I think for me it’s Let It Be. I thought the “Naked” version was better for the longest time, but a few years back listening to the original album made me really love it. I think the ballads and slower songs are still better on the Naked version, but the rest sound so full and energetic on the original.

@ArcheryCole for me, it’s definitely Help! At first listen it didn’t seem interesting but once I gave it another try, it went in the regular rotation ☺️

I’ll say the White Album. I grew up in the 90s. The 1987 CDs were my entry point. As a kid, the songs on the White Album didn’t grip me like their earlier stuff had. Now in my 30s, the topics, the references, and the musical variety of the album really connect with me.

But I still don’t care for “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?“ 😂

I love Why Don’t We Do It In The Road. Admittedly the song is only the vocal performance and not much more.

Please Please Me. Honestly at one point I hated it…now I really enjoy it

When I first got into the Beatles, I disliked quite a few tracks, all of which I love, or at least appreciate now.

    • The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill
    • Good Morning Good Morning
    • Within You Without You
    • Tomorrow Never Knows
    • Helter Skelter

Some of the songs got better with context, some of the songs I just need to be in the right mood for.

On a similar note I loved Let It Be the first 500 or so times I listened to it, but these days I will skip it 9/10 times it comes on.

For a long time the naked version of “I Me Mine” was my favorite underrated Beatles song.

I Me Mine is such a good song, and the Naked and original versions are both great!!
