I’ve been researching cars lately and the Rav 4 has really lost its status now compared to many other cars like Honda CR-V and Kia Sportage Hybrid. Toyota always had their reliability record, but these news is not what they need now… :)

Yeah I noticed they had problems with breaks and automatic breaking systems. Not good.

Honda seems to be the best of the bunch. Mazda also seems reliable.

I don’t want any EV company to fail, but after the Chevy Bolt and this, I’m just waiting for Tesla to lose the reputation for cars that catch fire.

Whup. My bad. Didn’t even read the article. I was thinking of the RAV4 plug in hybrid and made a bunch of assumptions.

No worries, I made a similar assumption from the title

Everyone is ready to make that assumption. It’s sinking in with the public that EVs are fire traps. Meanwhile, gas cars are somewhere between 20 to 100 times more likely to catch fire.

Because of the whole actually exploding gas inside it to make the thing go

And because when a gas car catches fire, it isn’t even newsworthy
