Some communities are not synchronizing on my own instance even though I’m subscribed.
Some examples:

Why is that?
There is no synching of historic content. Only new activities are federated.
Look at https://lemmy.ml/instances and you’ll see that your instance lemmings.world is federated with lemmy.ml. So federation should start soon.
Check your webserver for requests to “/.well-known/webfinger” from the IPs of other instances. This is the “starting point” of ActivityPub as far as I have understood it.

The problem wasn’t that I couldn’t discover them, I specifically subscribed to them and didn’t see anything. Gonna check the bot out, though!
