The aftermath of the redditgeddon … a whole lot of people created Fediverse accounts while reddit had the blackout / protest phase, only to quietly return to the other site once the protests were over, leaving empty communities and dead accounts behind.

… but yeah, especially for that community it is weird that it didn’t gain more traction on its own, since RE is one of THE most well-known zombie survival horror franchises on the planet. On the other hand, that should make it easier for whoever wants to adopt the community to make it popular. Multiple different games to pick from, active fanbase, somewhat regular news availiable all over the internet … it’s not hard to find interesting content for a community revvial and active discussions.
