    On the one hand, if Nikki Haley does manage to dethrone Trump and get the republican nomination the US will be in a better place. (I don’t think she is capable of cultivating a cult-like mentality like Trump so she won’t be a dictator.)

    On the other hand, I can foresee a scenario where she is a very difficult opponent for Biden to overcome and actually win the White House. That would pretty much guarantee Project 2025 happening.

      She also has the Koch network backing and probably the Mercers too.

        @Neblib

        If Trump is out of the picture, then yes because she will be their best option.

        The problem with that though is I don’t see Trump going quietly into the night. He would need to completely humiliate himself in front of his supporters for them to abandon him. How that could happen I have no idea…

          I would be shocked if he doesn’t end up running as an independent if Haley winds the primaries.

          And in which case, the election would absolutely be handed to Biden. So best case scenario.

          But that relies on too many unknowns.

    Yet she’s still a Trump sycophant, the only person that matters in this race other than Trump seems to be Christie, since all the rest of the Republicans would just give the candidacy to their “Dear Leader”.

      Unfortunately Christine fucked up NJ Governor so badly that he couldn’t win any election. It’s truly insane that this fucknut is the only voice of reason in the GOP.

        He’s not the only one, Romney and one or two others are still providing some resistance to Trump, Christie is just the only one Running for president against Trump. Also if anything the anti-Trumpers are being pushed out by the GOP, Romney is retiring, quite a few others have opted to retire or resign, we’re definitely going to see more Gaetz’s, Green’s, Jordan’s, and Tuberville’s from those red areas where Dems can’t challenge them.

    She’ll likely get picked up as his VP pick, as an attempt at peeling off more women voters from Democrats, since abortion is a bit of a losing issue for Republicans. Though potentially Trump’s ego won’t allow him to pick a VP that’s that close to him.
