Like here I use liftoff which has a feed that merges all the instances

You can just go to your instance’s page (like lemmy.world) and select “All” on top of the post list instead of “Local” or “Subscribed”. That allows you to see everything like how you do in Liftoff
Just for completeness, that won’t work if you actually have accounts on multiple instances and want to see stuff from all of them at once.
How would one instance know that I have an account on another instance? My accounts are not linked and they don’t even need to have the same name.
