The amount of comments I’ve accidentally swiped away from and had to retype because I’m trying to look at the original post for reference is getting quite frustrating. This is far and away my favorite lemmy app but we really need this functionality for it to be a true successor to Apollo. Apollo’s UI was fantastic but we also need the utility of Apollo.

this, it really pissed me off when I wrote a long-ass comment today and accidentally swiped it away and there was no way to recover at least part of it
Same!! I’ve started highlighting my comment, copying it, and then closing the comment field to go back to review a post or comment I wanted to look at once more before finishing mine, and then re-opening and pasting it back in before continuing… but that’s doesn’t help with the many accidental swipes unfortunately 😅
Another commenter pointed out the ability to swipe and have a delete confirmation was just added overnight with 0.12! The speed at which this app gets updated is awesome!
Oh nice!! I’ll have to update mine since mine doesn’t seem to have that feature just yet. But awesome, yeah, that’s super fast!
