Wouldn’t even know how to bring it up to in-laws, especially the optics. I smoke it medicinally that only probably 1 knows because she watches the kids. The others would just think I was having fun, than to explain after that I ALSO do it medically is a can of worms that just needs to stay closed for now.

It’s legal for medical and adult recreational use where I am, and I have a medical card. My family and in-laws used to talk shit but I’ve devoted my life to showing that you can be an unrepentant all day/every day weed head AND still have it all together, so by now nobody bats an eyelash

Part of the problem is the lack of a card here. I could get permission to grow medically, but all that does is introduce checks and gives me more plants to grow. I’ve talked to my GP, she doesn’t have a reason to tell me to stop if it’s working.

Pretty confident in my decision after overhearing the FIL grumble (don’t know who about) “kids these days have it too easy, no one knows what work is.”

Dude… wasn’t that the point, making things easier for your kids. And now you’re mad that they have that? Fucking hell.

Any tips for someone whose medicinal use has increased signifincantly over the last few years and is struggling to keep it all together?

The best advice I can give without knowing your situation or you personally at all, meditate 15 minutes daily. Keeping your shit together comes easy when you’ve got a clear head.
