Gunners•[Post-Match Ratings] Club Brugge v.s. Arsenal F.C.English
1·3 days agoVilla rating is still in there
Just switched this on to find Norgaard at CB 🤦🏻
I see Slavia were shitheads about a pride flag. Fuckers.
I saw the second half. Comfortable enough. With only the single goal for almost the whole game, I don’t want to, but do fear the worst though!

1·10 days agoI just listened to Michael Owen and Emmanuel Petit waxing lyrical about how amazed they are about how well Merino has adapted to being a striker.

3·10 days agoWell, that’s 5 mins of my time I will never get back. Having said that, I’ve also wasted an hour “talking” to a so-called “customer service” agent on a chat thing today, which was much more frustrating.
Edit - for reference, I pointed to a comment that I made 2 years ago about being alive in the 90s.

6·10 days agoOh, hang on, I read this post when there were not many responses and I thought it was a piss take and had a laugh and moved on.
But coming back, it seems like I do have to send something to this bot? Still not clear what.
I watched the whole thing live and it was much edgier than I wanted it to be, as it stuck at 1-0 for a long time and we eschewed several very good opportunities to extend the lead and make it more comfortable.
Although the stats show a lack of threat and xG from Brentford, they did have periods of possession where Arsenal were a bit quiet and it sounded like the crowd got a bit subdued, also.
Brentford also had a number of corners and long throws that could have turned into something but thankfully didn’t. You prob won’t see those in highlights but they are the type of thing where one of them could have lead to us cursing our luck.
I’d be hopeful for the Rice injury, as it didn’t look too bad at all. Mosquera looked more unhappy when he left the pitch.

Gunners•[Post-Match Thread] Chelsea F.C. v.s. Arsenal F.C.English
2·13 days agoIn the context of the game…disappointing. We could have done much better. Caveat is that the Big Willy absence that had impact on the game but that was somewhat balanced by the red card and also that we do have good depth, now. Private Equity FC played the way they kind of had to, effective but fucking annoying.
On a more macro level, no need to panic. It’s been a very good week, with firepower returning.

Chelsea. I think my dislike for them is equal to Man City and Tottenham. The Unholy Trinity.
I started a hate watch of TOT-FUL. Ended up loving it.
