I just read the book for the first time, and I have to say the adaptation (sort of retroactive lol) was pretty good for the book.
The book was brilliant though. It also includes a few treatises on why fascism is the closest thing to morality that people have.
On the one hand, the arguments are absolutely gorgeous and it’d be good to get them in the political discourse. Honestly, great exciting stuff. On the other hand, they were good arguments and you could read that book as a manual.
In the end, whoever suggested this book for this movie really did something remarkable.
I have two in my house and, if I was honest, they were always a bit jankie, but definitely worse over the past year or so.

Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to help people in our current system. We produce to profit the few and not the many.
1·3 days agoPeople forget that a lot of the US is almost uninhabited.
Plus, personal space is a pretty big deal in most of the States. If you’re too close, I’m not watching for pickpocketing. I’m too busy working out what the hell is going on in a panic because something is already wrong.
Sure we’re a bit violent, but we’re friendly first.
I’ll say that I’ve never been to Europe, but I’ve been out and about in central and South America and as far as I know I’ve never run into a pickpocket. Maybe it’s just a European thing.
I think it’s probably bigger and further than you may be imagining and would appear much more frightening in real life.
I can’t read it, but I am very drawn towards it
