This led to a lot of good discussion around various places to buy digital music. My comment wasn’t so much drm focused as it was about licenses being removed. I’ve encountered that on Qobuz actually. Not many, but a few items are no longer available to be downloaded. I have already downloaded the files when I purchased the music, so that’s certainly something different than a movie or game that can’t be downloaded and used as such. That’s all, just the fact that the license can still be removed.

They didn’t rebrand as Michael’s, they just closed? I only read a short blurb about Michael’s buying them, so I don’t really know much more than that. I haven’t even checked around here, where Joann used to be, but I think it might be the same scenario, they may have simply closed. I’ll have to look if I remember next time I’m over there.

I also like the effects of polarized sunglasses. One thing I noticed, is that my phone’s current screen protector film creates a rainbow effect, looking through the glasses. My previous phone must have used a different material because it didn’t do that. I’ve seen the same with certain street sign also, I believe it was. Just a little annoying, and I could probably use a different screen protector.

I was rewatching Night Court and every so often you see Judge Stone wearing a hat like this. I don’t know if it’s the jeans he’s also often wearing, or the joke ties, but the hat does not seem to fit his look. He looks kind of like a goof, which does fit his character! Lol

People who know seem to avoid Hobby Lobby. People around me talk about the alternatives like Joann and Michael’s (which I think now owns Joann).

For me, I use screenshots for extreme accuracy. To compare. And everything is usually done in the moment. Not something to come back to. It’s like asking your brain to remember every detail instead of a quick glance at something that gives you that information immediately and completely. I was always told the pencil (or in this case the screenshot) is for remembering, the brain is for thinking.

Nice! I bet there’s a lot of stuff on VHS and other older mediums that is lost or simply stuck to the older formats, that you just can’t find on newer ones. That’s a treat! Hopefully worth the effort. Enjoy!

Some of what you’re describing sounds like what RDR2 was. Slow-paced walking and riding, beautiful scenery, etc. This seemed to appeal to people, like you said about its success. For all that I’ve seen of the game, duking it out in an all out chaos simulator seems to no longer be the focus. It seemed even more controlled than RDR1.
