I personally would not like to see esports content removed, and as others have already said, splitting up such a small community won’t do much good

Chenzto No Stupid Questions•Whats stopping the person who created this site lemmy.world from just nuking it and deleting all the posts on it one day?English181·2 years agoBurning my house down will cost me money. Shutting lemmy.world down will save the owner a lot of money. They’re not really comparable.
The reality is that a lot of lemmy hosts will rise and fall over the years, and a lot of communities will disappear with them.
That looks promising, hopefully we’ll have an 0.18.1 release later next week
Audible är väl Amazon? De är ju inte kända för att vara särskilt humana mot sina lagerarbetare
Chenzto Lemmy.World Announcements•Isn't the option to post on the Lemmy.world a bit problematic for the future?English3·2 years agoWhat do you mean you can’t unsubscribe?
Contributing does little to help the issue at the moment, as the hot and active sort has crashed and stopped updating since a couple of days ago.
Until that’s fixed, most users will be presented with the same posts every time they visit lemmy.world
Yeah, hot (and probably active as well) is completely broken at the moment.
Chenzto Lemmy.World Announcements•Beehaw defederating effective immediately from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.worksEnglish4·2 years agoI hope you’re right. I’m just afraid .ml users will see no reason to leave the beehaw communities
Chenzto Lemmy.World Announcements•Beehaw defederating effective immediately from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works8·2 years agoYeah, but at the moment, beehaw, ml, world and shitjustworks are the 4 biggest lemmy servers. Now, beehaw and ml will stay on the beehaw communities, while world and shotjustworks will have to split out into new ones
Chenzto Lemmy.World Announcements•Beehaw defederating effective immediately from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.worksEnglish1816·2 years agoThis sucks, and might be the reason I return to Reddit. This pretty much splits the Lemmy population in two halves
I’ve just started working my way through FFXIV Shadowbringers. Haven’t really gotten into the meat of the story yet, but I understand that it’s one of the more popular expansions.
Finn has been looking really good this split. He’s been above LEC-average in team fights for a while now, but has had atrocious laning phases. But this split I don’t think he has had a single bad laning phase
