  • Why would context even matter? A genocide is a genocide no matter the context. It can NEVER be justified.

I have had similar discussions with a right-wing conspiracy theorist (friend of my dad) that also used to justify genocide. I do think and hope that our conversation has led to some positive change in his views. He used to get super triggered when I called what is happening is Palestine a genocide but today I think he accepts it. Or at least he no longer denies it completely. I have stood my ground and kept challenging whatever he has said.

Don’t give up on the people around you! Take the discussion, challenge their views. Call out any attempt to justify genocide. You don’t need to argue with these people about facts, history or whatever. Just a call out of any attempt to justify genocide is enough. Don’t let them keep spreading their hate unchallenged. Violence and hate can never win.

The last seasons of Game of Thrones were total garbage compared to what they delivered when they had the books to lean on.

Breaking Bad is great all the way. I would also like to recommend Vikings. The spin-off is not as good as the first one.

Sorry to hear that. In my opinion it’s a great fantastic metroidvania and puzzle game. It reminds me of Zelda and Portal too. Isn’t there a way to disable head bobbing in the settings or some other option to reduce the motion sickness? Have you tried reducing mouse speed? If noting helps then you could try contacting the developer about it. Maybe they can fix it.

  • If you have around 100€ you can get a mini PC on eBay to start self-hosting all kinds of things. I have two at home with Proxmox installed and it’s very easy to use. Especially with the Community helper scripts to get containers installed and configured for a variety of self-hosted services.

A Lenovo Thinkcentre or HP EliteDesk Mini PC works perfectly as a home server. I use it to host game servers, Home Assistant, personal wiki, Jellyfin, Audiobookshelf, SearXNG, PiHole and more.
