One of them is going to win anyways, and your personal protest just lets shit slide further to the right as we’ve seen over the last decade in American politics. Vote and THEN go protest to fight for improvement wherever you can if you’re unhappy about it.

I did look up sales volumes/revenue as I was typing my original comment and was pretty disappointed seeing the endless rise. My values seem to drift further from society’s every year it seems lol… maybe for the best…

Not sure if this is in response to internal bean counters or reduced external demand, but it doesn’t even make sense to buy from them without Prime nowadays. I can literally get items from almost any local store the same day or next day for cheap or free. Some online retailers can get me stuff same week, and Amazon with their massive warehouse down the block can’t do it within five days most of the time unless I pay for shipping… At which point I’d rather just shop almost anywhere else.

I refuse to subscribe to Prime because I’m sick of all these companies trying to lock me into their own business. I’ll just go source locally, shop around online, or pay the shipping at Amazon once every two months when I truly can’t find what I need at a reasonable price anywhere else.

I keep saying this, but I have come to the conclusion that the Russian-Ukrainian war and now the American/Israeli attack on Iran have precluded any further movement toward nuclear disarmament. If Ukraine still had their nukes, Russia would have thought twice about invading. If Iran had nukes, and I’m not saying they actually want them or deserve them, Israel and the US would have thought twice about attacking.

It’s literally the only way for countries to remain independent in the face of America’s trillions in military investments, which was much less of a concern before psychopaths like Trump were elected in by the dumbest, most selfish electorate known to man.

Agreed… neither party “won”, both are worse off as a result, both will continue to be worse off for years, and the American and Iranian civilians are the ones who will pay the bill physically, socially, and financially because Trump couldn’t comprehend that some entity may exist who would not instantly roll over and show it’s belly in submission.

Now Trump has supercharged the terrorists, AND the Iranian people will hate America for decades which will make regime change even more difficult. They will have to suffer even longer under theocratic repression now, thanks to Trump and his Fox News war-bro wannabe Nazi department head. If anyone in this administration had a brain, this would have been the main point of discussion before any bombs were dropped.
