8 hours agoHere we go again. Tons of these stories exist. It’s a big building, plans change all the time, people get sick, etc… they are crazy stories, but idk about conspiracy theory crazy. Plus well never actually know anyway.

How bad are these schools that we can’t even teach kids how to read? I honestly thought my kid who has autism and dyslexia and also hates school or doing any work was going to never read. Even he was able to figure it out with help from school and an extra year than most kids, but he still did it and is actually pretty good now. Our school district is pretty awful for the state, but I know our state is actually better than a lot. I can’t imagine how bad some states are if this is the case.
Less than a month ago I walked into a quickcheck and a Silver Jews song started playing and I was blown away because I never in a million years would have expected that. Also RIP David Berman… he is still the only artist or celebrity I have ever felt real sadness for when I heard the news. I was super into the Purple Mountains release at the time and after that happened I realized almost all the songs felt like a message of what he was about to do.
What moving back to what to what and what?
My friend was preaching for weeks now that he absolutely has to buy this game, but already knew it was going to be booty and hated that he was going to waste money on this. Guess he was right.
3·2 days agoAlso I am so ready for this. Nathan may be one of the few people were I watch his shit and laugh uncontrollably or my mouth is dropped by some crazy shit he announces out of left field.

Haven’t played, but the more I hear the more I want to. Kind of broke for the next few months, plus these next few months are stacked with the most amount of games I actually want to buy in years… so this one may be left till a discount and then buy late in the year or early next year.
For reference I have only purchased like 1 game in the past few years and that was Clair Obscure day one of its release. So having like 5 or so games that I really want to buy in the next 3ish months is crazy. And yes i still play a bunch of games, just been ones a friend will let me borrow or the free games on PS+ which has been more than enough to keep me occupied.
Great. Now how long until they try again? It’s so crazy how much they want it to work despite all the evidence proving that its going to be a bad idea and in the end cost more than the people you hired at the lowest cost possible. For a company that loves power its crazy to think they are just ok handing over a decent chunk of that power to another company that will dictate how much it costs and unlike employees that get no raises or maybe a dime, these AI contracts will absolutely have clauses were every year they will rise 5%. It’s not a hard decision here yet for some reason they really won’t drop it. If that wasn’t enough nobody likes talking to a bot! Your hurting your company every step of the way…
Not sure, but my experience is when I was a kid my parents told me later on that they couldn’t really afford to get me a console, but they were able to get one for a fraction of the price by buying one off the back of a truck which was a lot more common back then for lower income neighborhoods. Lots of stolen goods sold locally that way as long as you had the hookup. As for games the only thing I remember was in the 90s some of my asian friends had some awesome toys from chinatown. They had this adapter that plugged into the snes and it played games that were on cards which were basically copied roms so you didnt have to buy full games anymore. My mind was blown at the time. Idk about scalpers, but this was what I remember for that market at the time.

Probably why he was charged instead of let go. It seems pretty rare that the driver is charged so the fact that he was definitely shows he was at fault. Hopefully it sticks and he is prosecuted fairly for his awful actions.
3·3 days agoThe fact that it happened at all is enough to give them the middle finger. The other messed up part is as of now they haven’t even offered any compensation? Aplogies aren’t good enough.
Is this going to effect my show scraper?
Yeah i read the same thing a while back. I was shocked when I read that it was way more different from the first to the point that it is emulating switch 1 games because its not compatible. So starting from scratch sadly.

Your right, that one was big as well, but I was just sad just like a lot of the ones like him. Idk why, I just really felt for David for some reason. He just always seemed like he was never in a good place and to see that he never could find happiness hit me hard.
One weird coincidence about the Beastie Boys, I got to see them for the first time at their final concert ever which at the time wasn’t known. It was at Bonnaroo 2009 and so grateful I got to see them once. It was also my first year going and went to 6 years in total where there were a few other artists I saw that ended up dying right after as well. At the 2009 roo everyone was already sad because Michael Jackson also died that weekend and people were shocked. A lot of my friends who didnt go with us were super excited to see Beastie Boys when they came to our state less than a month later, but never ended up happening.
