Haven’t seen one ad attacking the leading Democrat, Annie Andrews. And sure, that will probably pick up after the primaries are over, but I do love watching Republicans waste money fighting each other.

Also in the US we grow massive amounts of corn to be processed into ethanol for gasoline, less than 5% of that land converted to solar would make the same amount of energy that all the ethanol from the corn produces. And if slightly less than half the land used for corn for ethanol was used for solar, the US would be at net zero carbon production.

And it’s not like ethanol is some byproduct that still allows that corn to be used for food or something else. Nope, we’re wasting all that land exclusively to burn up in our cars.

It’s animated, my guess is that either means Castlevania/Cyberpunk Edgerunners style 2D or maybe we’ll get full 3D CGI to capture more of the atmosphere. Based on the picture in the article, there’s some redundancy in this model, which makes sense for a product specifically designed to be used in a car, but you can buy an LD-06 lidar sensor for less than $30.

It’s impossible to tell from the picture, but it does look a bit like two LD-06 sensors in a case with a bit of room for some processing hardware. I bought AMD products for Linux support, and even bought one share of their stock back in the 1st gen Ryzen days. Time passes, I get a bit older and become a young adult, the internet gets faster, at some point I revisit the porn archival hyperfixation, and foolishly write a script to scrape and download photosets straight from Playboy’s paid member-only site.

Obviously one of their web admins notices that my account is a huge chunk of their monthly traffic, and I get an email from their customer service basically saying their admins noticed unusual activity on my account, and to explain myself or face a ban. While I agree with you, I’m not sure Chromebooks should count as “using tech” for the sake of learning. If you really want to give a younger generation experience with technology there are far better systems for them to learn on.

I dislike civil asset forfeiture as it’s generally used, but there’s nothing really stopping us from using the government to just nationalize those companies/means of production.
