I don’t think the chipset rule is helpful. Instead, use the motherboard as what determines CPU socket, RAM type, RAM speeds and CPU generation. CPU compatibility can be expanded with firmware updates but then not all motherboards support flashing new firmware without a compatible CPU installed. IMO 50% of your compatibility questions are answered on the motherboard’s support page.

Also, many of your checks don’t apply to new builds or linux PCs. It might be helpful to separate those.
