Agreed; Tony has a problem. Tony gets angry. Tony solves problem by killing/having killed said person responsible for the problem was very much the dominant and highly repetitive story line. There was some nuance, sure, but not enough for my liking.

How have you been making those models? I have a 4070 and doing it locally has been a dependency hellscape, I’ve been tempted to rent cloud GPU time just to save the hassle.

After considering this question carefully, I expect the answer is: the square root of fuck all.
Styxiato Mildly Infuriating•Power company oursourced their payments. Every method except autopay now has a feeEnglish15·5 months ago- pay online fee: $2.50
- Paper bill/pay by check fee: $5.00.
I made the numbers up as I don’t recall them offhand but my energy company effectively has this policy now. :/
At a guess, the number being needed to pass the validation? Though the strong tag does give it a better dad-joke vibe.
Styxiato A Boring Dystopia•Lakeland woman threatens insurance company, says ‘Delay, Deny, Depose’: police1·7 months ago“I was being sarcastic” surely could be the defensible response… right… right?!/s
Don’t want to assume where you live, I found several available as a poster/print by searching “Milky Way Galaxy Map Poster”
(“google it” is often a scornful response, please know that is not my intention here.)
Reminds me of “The Cube Rule”, which argues that a hot dog is a taco!
Styxiato HistoryPorn•This photograph is in Iran in the 1970s, she couldn’t be wearing this outfit today, and she would need a Hijab.English5·1 year ago(Sincere) are you implying that these pictures are the elite/upper class and the counter narrative is more the norm of the time?
Edit: nvm, other comments in the feed seem to add further context.
Seems like significant weather events, but who the fuck can tell really.
Styxiato You Should Know•YSK that the recommended daily fiber intake is 25g for women and 38g for men in the USA. 95% of the country does not meet this amount.2·1 year agoBut that first purge feels so healthy though!
Epitome and Penchant for me. Mocked mercilessly for those two.
I read recently that white plastic was the more expensive color to produce. I wanted to cite/link a source but internet search is frustratingly bad these days.
Edit: Not quite what I read but close enough.

Styxiato News•A former US surgeon general says he went to the ER for dehydration and ended up with a $5,000 bill. He called the healthcare system 'broken.'1·1 year agoRidiculous isn’t it? I had my annual physical a few weeks back, which for me is filling an online form and having my blood pressure read and a few blood tests. $550, insurance pays for everything.
Well. Almost. Turns out 2 of my blood tests were not covered by some healthcare bill passed in 2007. $267. And the mole I asked to be checked, billing code wasn’t covered as standard checkup, and so that question was $240. Mole was benign, and surprisingly didn’t result in some convenience fee.
Styxiato News•A former US surgeon general says he went to the ER for dehydration and ended up with a $5,000 bill. He called the healthcare system 'broken.'10·1 year agoER was in-network. The nurse and doctor was also in-network. The second nurse, who connected me to the ECG, and the person who read the ECG was not in-network. No way of knowing at the time. Balance billing was permitted in that state at that time, which out-of-network provider used to the full extent.
I’m still salty about that.
Styxiato No Stupid Questions•how did "step" porn become so popular when we did such a good job keeping scat and insest porn out of the mainstream for so long1·1 year agoNot challenging just clarifying; Is your speculation extending to suggest that the larger demographic of porn consumers online are adolescents? Or more that the “step-*” joining the family set a longer term influence? (Or something else entirely…?)

Many years ago my station of choice when driving to work started running an advert for car safety. The sound effect was a loud blaring car horn and the sounds of screaming tires and a crash. The first, second, third time I heard it was instant jolt of panic and left me jittery. I switched stations after the third time.
