  • First off, sorry you’re in an impossible situation. Some POS at the company is adhering to old views to treat groups like shit for no reason other then their ego. That’s shit.

I would take this as a sign it’s time to start finding other customers. Like you said, you need this job, any comment isn’t going to change the content, and they are doing it because being terrible to marginalized groups is the current shitty “answer” to income inequality.

I’d do the job, and then act upon your morals to search for either other places to work or other jobs. That way you can eventually tell them to pound sand.

Just to add to your point: I love the idea, however I lived with a group of Exalted players that took it way too far, so my group is still gunshy on doing too much combat description. So some people have seen the extremes of RP in combat, so they pull back.

Replied this below, apologies for recycling:

In another life I reviewed quite a few Crown Royal whiskies before the other website went to hell. Northern Harvest was better then the standard. The single barrel selections they send to Texas took the cake. You ever get the chance, buy a bottle… And the 75th Monarch Anniversary, but that is long gone now.

I actually enjoyed Corby/Wiser products more, with Lot 40 being my old go to.

Baking by vibe takes some work, and you should practice recipes by the letter before trying it, but it can be fun. It’s more so knowing the impact of what you’re adding.

Spices, for instance, can be added by vibe to some recipes. Flour, on the other hand, should be weighed out and a firm knowledge of ratio to fat rather then vibes.

Gus Catlson: US based company consultant who writes for right based Canadian newspaper Globe & Mail. Also was a director at that newspaper. Was in charge of communications for the Thompson Reuters merger. Has a Pulitzer from 1992, but beyond that its all business reporting and opinion pieces.

Everything in his background tells me he hasn’t had to work insane hours in decades. He hasn’t had a boss ask him to work 10 - 20 extra hours just to have a 2% increase at the end of the year. He was in charge of a Canadian major newspaper, which aren’t known for paying a proper wage. So he knows he’s lying, he’s just annoyed people want to have lives.

  • Do they have hobbies/beliefs/sycophantic mannerisms similar to the bosses in charge? Because that’ll get you promoted. A lot of management are lonely people who don’t view others as equals unless they suck up or never argue, thus useless people get promoted so they can hang with “friends” in meetings all day.

    Or good old nepotism.

I always feel that good pineapple, well caramelized, can be good on pizza. The problem is the majority of pizza places don’t properly caramelize it, thus why most people never have a chance to try it well made, and thus the strong feelings against it.

At least that’s why I dont usually grab Hawaiian pizza.

Congratulations! Electric carver is fun to use. One thing, and only saying this if you’re willing: Consider learning how to carve with a french knife, training with chicken. You get a lot juicier meat by carving against the grain. That said, I totally respect if you like sticking with the carver and not worrying about it.
