I have not yet looked into it.
I will vote in favour if:
- The E-ID platform is controlled by the government and is fully open source
- Platforms only get a single binary information for age verification if the person is old enough or not and does not get any identifiable information.
- The government platform does not get any info about what service is doing the request. So the government controlled ID platform cant log what service the person uses.
If any of these points are not fulfilled with the planned implementation I will have to weigh the risks.
I run IPFire on a PC Engines apu4d4 (https://pcengines.ch/apu4d4.htm). I use dynDNS, WireGuard and set up a DMZ with it. I also have a WiFi card installed und use hostAPD to run that.
I think they stopped producing them because the AMD SOC they used is EOL. I was a big fan of their open platform.
Wow I never expected to see a “the ring thing” reference here.

6·2 months agoThis looks great. I really want to take back the control over my music library und consumption and am so tired of spotify. I want to give this a try. Plus I’m building my home server platform at the moment so this has come at the perfect time. Thanks for posting.

122·3 months agoThere are also great alternatives for LEGO compatible toy sets. Some of them are even higher quality than LEGO.

It kinda reminded me of these biscuits.
