I feel like some people take occult stuff and try to say that it’s backed by science to try to make it feel valid. Just say you like burning herbs it makes you feel good and magical, don’t try to say that it’s backed by some study that says burning something kills germs or whatever.

I really like the strategy I’ve seen used in college campuses before where you use it as a fundraiser. Have a donation table and donate all the money to pro LGBT organizations. I can’t find the video I was hoping to but the guy basically said “ignoring them doesn’t do anything, and shouting back at them doesn’t do anything at the end of the day, but using them to raise money actively helps fight them. I’m going to make this donation in their name because they are helping us raise the money”.

It also helps with the people who don’t want to be in the protest but want to help actually do something, and it shows that the average person isn’t silently in favor of their bullshit.

I wouldn’t call this propaganda. Propaganda is done deliberately and this seems to be a popular sentiment. Even if it’s a quirk of the algorithm (which I’m not sure these could be posted chronologically, imgur sometimes does that iirc) it’s still not deliberate.

Ok I see you and hear you and you are right, some racism is because of colonialism. But India did have a big problem with race and classes before the British. I’m not educated enough to know if it wasspecifically skin tone as well as region and which caste you were born in, but the idea that racism only comes from colonizers is super false.

It’s also weirdly racist in its own way, supporting the “noble savage” myth.
