Phenothiazines are antipsychotics used to treat schizophrenia… perhaps Electrochemistry considers it to be the hardest drug in Revachol because it could silence the voices in Harry’s mind.

EDIT: I looked it up, I guess that doesn’t make sense in the context of the conversation. Acele’s the one who mentions people doing it to get high…

  • Top panel: an authoritarian empire is trying to force peaceful, indigenous peoples out of their home and massacre those who have not fled. Joshua Graham responds by exterminating a band of able-bodied, weapon-bearing warriors without accepting surrender, thus guaranteeing the security of the Sorrows and Dead Horses.

Bottom panel: a republican army commits a grave war crime due to miscommunication and a lack of accountability during an otherwise legitimate operation against a violent, drug-running nomadic gang. Oscar Velasco responds by sniping unarmed refugees who had nothing to do with the attack on the camp, which does nothing to defend or improve the position of the Great Khans.

I could hardly fault Velasco if he was only shooting uniformed soldiers and not refugees.

  • Oh, fascinating. This gives context to my latest Crusader Kings 3 campaign with the “All Under Heaven” DLC. I was playing as a Bengali suzerain rather than a Chinese one, but whenever I demanded that a tributary pay tribute, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that most of the reciprocal gifts I could offer cost more than I gained. 😭

But sometimes I could get away with sharing technological secrets instead of a tangible gift, which cost me nothing and helped their culture progress toward an innovation that mine had already discovered. Any historical basis to that?

  • If only! 😞

Online conversation about Kauffman’s planned event has continued to alternate between incredulity and ridicule. “I can’t imagine billionaires marching in the street,” one social media user said, of the event.

That person would probably be right.

Kauffman told TC that, so far, he isn’t aware of any actual billionaires planning to attend the march that has been organized in their honor. Kauffman said that the event is likely to include “a few dozen attendees,” although he stressed that he really isn’t clear on how many people would show up.

Kroger. It’s their store-brand Worcestershire sauce. I was wary about “natural flavors” on the ingredients list, but there are plenty of search results confirming that it’s vegan, including a blogger that reached out directly to the company to have them confirm it.

If pressed to elaborate, she might explain that she meant all forms of sex. Clearly there are dozens of ways for heterosexuals, homosexuals, or anyone else to partake in the pleasures of sex with zero risk of pregnancy. But Lae’zel wants to partake in all the pleasures of sex.
