  • I’ll be cynical, his job is to get elected. The way that has traditionally worked is by making constituents happy.

He is failing at that job because he’ll be primaried in his next election.

As minority leader, his job is to become majority leader. Again, traditionally, by making the nation happy with the party. He’s failing there because right now everyone (other than consultants) hates his fecklessness. Which is a major drag on the Democrat party.

Senators need to show some backbone and oust him as minority leader, he’s failing miserably. They are failing by playing nice with this loon.

    Again, deluded moron.

Your screed is that of a petulant child who is afraid of an owie.

Murdering people in the streets is in no way comparable to getting a poke to avoid spreading a disease.

You have a full blown meltdown over what’s effectively a flu shot. I’m sure you also cry over people using LED lightbulbs.

Oh the horror of getting a poke!

    Moron.

We are 6 years from covid with billions of vaccines distributed and your dumb ass is still upset about getting a shot. All because you deluded yourself into thinking that vaccination was dangerous.

  • I suspect we may be seeing more of this. Whether or not it adds up to anything, IDK. Trump is fucking up business with his dipshit moves like tariffs and attacking Powell.

No rich person in the US likes tariffs, they also don’t like economic instability and inflation. Trump putting in a crony that lowers the interest rates to -1% will cause severe problems in the economy.

Powell has by and large been pretty competent in his job. He was perhaps a bit slow on lowering interest rates but not in an indefensible manner.

  • The memory layout for windows is going to be different than it is under linux. A bad module could still be causing chaos but it might only really be affecting the RDP server rather than firefox.

For CPU, can depend on how you are configured. If you haven’t gone through the work of getting your power usage settings under control, linux likes to run the CPU clock frequency at 100% all the time rather than letting it ramp down. The two OSes also ultimately have different scheduling schemes which could be causing linux to put more pressure on various cores than what windows does.
