Glad he was a careful father, else that tire might have Dunlopped your head off.
Like many of us slaves to the keyboard, I wanna be as far away as possible from electronics come bedtime to let my brain rest. Even in bouts of insomnia, I refuse to let that tether latch on; It’s not healthy.
Oh hell no, that fucker is on a docking station as far away from me as possible come bedtime.

The #1 thing I can think of is plagiarism.
AI stories are quite literally unoriginal works generated from original mediums and it’s harmful to all authors worldwide.
AI-giarism is still plagiarism.

Oh come on, at least post a picture of a good one. 1989 Swatch Phone:

I immediately thought of 15th century hand cannons and had a ‘hmmm’ moment myself. Not even sure those were the first.

Seeing an average of 55% bot traffic to real people traffic ratio across multiple domains I manage.
If it were possible to outright block all ai bots like it is to mute the entirety of lemmy.ml, I would sincerely do it.

Waking up in the middlle of the night and needing to pump more air into the can just so you can see enough to find your way to the bathroom…
Or grabbing the handle at the wrong angle and accidentally touching the glass for a lovely 2nd degree burn needing some butter on it…
Or taking a big whiff of that black smoke it makes after being lit…
Yeah, I’d rip the insides of that one out and replace it with an LED and battery tyvm.
Wait, you’re telling me we don’t have a return plan EITHER?
Head exploding…

And no photo of the new species. Saved you a click.

At least in Southern California, I fear September and October more than July and August as that’s when we have the most fires. It’s just a fact.
Your instincts are probably correct: You were turned on and it’s entirely normal:

Fair. I had a used '83 Cimarron 1.8T in 1994. It was an absolute slug, basically chewed through alternators and water pumps on a quarterly basis, but honestly wasn’t horrible for a first car.
Aztec was fugly as hell though.
I think the Pontiac Aztec was worse tbh.
The Cimarron was basically a Chevy Cavalier and it worked. I know, it was literally my first car.
Oh sweetheart, just wait until 50. You just end up hitting the fuckit button and not caring anymore.
